I'm Looking for a Partner
So more of the magic gets published

I have begun the road trip back down the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. In two days, I’ll be back at my friend’s house for one night before heading to the North Island — a fantastic pet-sitting gig with two beautiful black labs and a black cat, in a neighborhood where I already have dear friends.
Last night, I stayed in a tiny town called Omau that has on its doorstep the dramatic beach and ancient rock formations that you see in the photos above. Sunrise out my back door, sunset in the front.
This morning, before checking out, I will walk further up the coast to visit another seal colony. Videos and photos of frolicking seals are pending, I hope.
Then I’ll stop at Pancake Rocks in Punakaiki on the way to Arthur’s Pass Village for my last road trip night. This land is lovely in every direction. I get to see a lot of beauty without really taking my eyes off the road.

This morning’s Daily Body Magic session will happen with a view of the beautiful eastern sky, the bush, and the mountains in the background. Scroll to the bottom and grab your 7-day free trial of Magic Makers, and see if this moving meditation practice is as great for you as it is for me.
I have decided to seek out some help building Everyday Magic: The Sacred Ordinary.
The proceeds from the sale of all my things will not last forever, and it is time to build this business in earnest. I love my part — seeing, witnessing, experiencing, documenting. The writing is going great. The Sacred Ordinary book series is underway. But Magic Makers is growing painfully slowly, largely because my lifestyle and my nature prevent me from doing what the algorithms require. Facebook, Substack, all of it — the platforms that matter today run on consistency and a regular flow of content. That is not my strong suit.
I’m looking for someone who knows social media, but more importantly, knows my work. Someone who shares a similar philosophy of life, and genuinely wants to be part of freeing and empowering women — especially those in midlife who are finished with doctrine and dogma but not finished with depth and meaning.
What I have to offer is a modest monthly retainer and a 20% share of revenue as the business grows. You grow with me. That’s not an assistant arrangement — that’s a partnership.
I need someone good at the things I’m not: keeping content moving across platforms, sharing photos and videos, and maintaining the rhythm that builds an audience over time.
If this is you, reply and let’s talk.
I’m off to do Daily Body Magic and see some seals and more New Zealand natural beauty.
With love from wherever I am,
Lauren

Hi lovely Lauren, I really resonate with your words and overall message. Are you still looking for someone to help you share it? I do comms for a charity in the UK, and I’ve been dying to freelance for women who I believe in, would love to chat! I just popped you over a message x
